Renukaji Excursions

The Renukaji Wild Life Sanctuary is another tourist attraction, which is spread over an area of 402.80 hectares. Here, tourists can see various different kinds of birds and animals such as black partridge, hill crow, bulbul, spotted deer, jungle cats and hare. The sanctuary has mixed dry deciduous forests and the vegetation comprises of mixed crops of Shisham, Cordia, Terminalia, Carrie and Khair.

Established in 1957, a visit to the Renuka Mini Zoo is must, while on an excursion to Renukaji as tourists can see different varieties of animals such as Black Bucks, Sambhar, Himalyan black bears, spotted deer, and Chinkara here. Furthermore, Renuka Lion Safari is another major attraction for tourists, who have come on an excursion to the place as it gives them the opportunity to take close photographs of the regal creature as Lion. Every year, the colorful Renuka Fair is held in the month of November on the banks of the Renuka Lake and goes on for weeks. The other major tourist attractions in Renukaji include the Choordhar Peak, Jamu Peak, Renuka Garden, and Renuka Wetland.
